Ruslan, a question about the flashing procedure — is it better to always flash everything, or just the firmware itself? Mine flashes differently sometimes: sometimes it starts glitching, sometimes it’s fine… I usually try to flash everything.

Руслан, вопрос про процедуру прошивки - лучше все всегда прошивать, или только тело прошивки? у меня по разному прошивается, то глючить начинает, то нормально… стараюсь все шить

When the EEPROM has been flashed, it’s enough to flash just the firmware. But really, you only need to flash it once.

Когда епром прошит, достаточно прошить прошивку. Но вообще её достаточно один раз пришить

When doing a full firmware change (jumping across versions, for example), run both commands (upload deep & upload).

If you only changed a define value or something in the code, then just upload is enough.

When flashing the EEPROM (upload deep), the scales need to be recalibrated.

При полной смене прошивки (переход через версию, например) выполнять обе команды (upload deep & upload)

Если поменял только значение define’а или что-то в коде, то можно просто upload.

При прошивке eeprom (upload deep) весы нужно перекалибровывать

I haven’t even soldered the scales yet, I’m tinkering without them for now… I want to understand how all this works so I don’t have to poke at it as much… sarcasm about poking at it less
