Make the guide ribs a separate part to make reprinting easier

I’m already regretting not moving the guide ribs onto the lid — it would’ve been easier to decide to reprint it…

I think it really would make sense to make them a separate screw-on part, mounted near the bottom.

There’s no serious mechanical load there anyway, so it should be enough to add a couple of holes in the bottom and mount the slats onto a small 1 mm backing plate. Then make 2 mm tabs along the edges of the backing plate for heat-set nuts.

Or the same thing, but with the mounts on the sides — in that case it’d even be a bit more aerodynamic.

Там же нет серьёзной механической нагрузки, достаточно добавить пару отверстий в дне и ламели посадить на небольшую подложку толщиной 1мм. В подложке по краям сделать выступы 2мм под вплавляемые гайки.

Либо тоже самое, но крепления делать по бокам, в этом случае будет даже аэродинамичненько

You can barely get in there from the sides to screw it on. And that would actually make the airflow around the edges of the heater worse (and people were saying it needs airflow everywhere).

По бокам там фиг подлезешь прикрутить. И как раз это будет ухудшать обдув с краев грелки (а говорили же что надо чтоб обдувался везде)

It’d only take up like 5x3 mm from below in the corners, you’d have to estimate it, of course, but in theory it shouldn’t affect anything.

Ну там чисто 5х3мм уйдет снизу по углам, надо прикинуть, конечно, но по идее ни на что не повлияет
