I’m fed up with filament dryers that make noise. They don’t dry worth a damn, look janky, and I wanted a good dryer that you just set up and forget about forever. I haven’t seen this one in person, only reviews from the expo, maybe someone has actual experience with it, that’s what I wanted to ask.

Заколебали меня сушилки которые шумят. не сушат нифига, выглядят колхозно, хотелось хорошую сушку, которую поставил и забыл об этой проблеме навсегда, сам в живую не видел, только что обзоры с выставки, может у кого был опыт, вот хотелось узнать
I checked it out in person. For now it’s still pretty janky. Half-baked. The electronics and software are cool, but that’s about it.

Yeah, that’s exactly the problem — there’s nothing ready-made you can buy so everything works properly out of the box. I’ve already got 2 now, a space pi and a sanlu s2, but they’re still not quite it, and I don’t feel like building one myself out of vegetable dryers and fishing containers.

It’s noisy, heats the plastic unevenly inside, and there’s no ventilation
I’d much rather buy an iDryer, but they don’t sell assembled ones anymore, there are no kits, and it’s unclear when there will be any. I don’t really feel like building one myself either, and the big problem for me is the enclosure — the one from the kit isn’t sturdy at all, and I don’t want to build it into fishing boxes. The printer is at home, and I want it to look nice.

Я бы с большим удовольствием купил idryer, но собранных их не продают больше, китов нету и когда будут не ясно, собирать самому как то тоже не сильно горю желанием и проблема для меня большая корпус, из кита он не прочный нифига, а в рыбацкие ящики собирать мне не хочется, принтер стоит дома и хочется феншуя

Most likely less. The electronics, sure, but the enclosure can be printed from inexpensive ABS. As people wrote above, one unit is 700-800 grams of plastic. So around 1k ₽.

Меньше скорее всего. Электроника само собой, а корпус из недорогого абс напечатать можно же. Писали выше - один юнит это 700-800 грамм пластика. Тоесть в районе 1к ₽.
