My K1 also doesn’t see the heater as a USB device

I also compiled the firmware on another host with my own version of Klipper

I don’t really know my way around your Creality stuff. If it doesn’t see it, there are two options: either @Tom_Tomich (https://t.me/Tom_Tomich) or go read through his manuals :slight_smile:

For the K1 to see it, you need to compile the firmware for 2022 Klipper.
