The touch UI is about 90% done, but it’s on hold for now — I’m getting the project ready for release, and the touch part isn’t the main thing. It’s important to understand that the touch itself costs from about 1200 on AliExpress, so if you already have an encoder and a small screen, touch looks nice and is convenient, but it’s not necessary.
This isn’t a touch like on Creality and similar stuff — those screens are custom-ordered in large quantities. This is a standard touch from AliExpress with the interface, icons, and menu elements drawn on it.
We’re talking about the iDryer Unit), you can connect a screen with an encoder to it and flash standalone firmware, and it becomes self-contained, or you can connect Wi-Fi and work through the Portal, even without a screen.

Тач готов процентов на 90, но на паузе, готовлю проект к публикации, а тач не основное. Важно понимать, что тач сам по себе на алике стоит от 1200, т.е. при наличии энкодера и мелкого экрана это красиво и удобно, но не необходимо.
Это не тач как у креалити и т.п., такие экраны заказываются индивидуально в больших количествах, это стандартный тач с али с отрисовкой интерфейса, иконок, элементов меню.
Речь про iDryer Unit), к нему можно подключить экран с энокодером и зашить standalone прошивку, и оно становится самостоятельным, а можно подключить вифи и работать уже с порталом и даже без экрана

Well, with Klipper that’s easy — any touch screen, even 32".
I made the standalone version. Why would you need it prebuilt? Or do you mean a kit for assembling/printing it? In that case yeah, a simple Unit is enough.

I didn’t quite get it…
The Unit already is a kit for printing and assembly. Either for Klipper, or for the standalone version (without Klipper). For standalone, for now there’s a small screen with an encoder. In the Klipper version, you can hook up whatever you want, as you correctly noted. I mostly controlled it from Telegram. And I built the small screen into the front bracket from the standalone version.
The iDryer board is now going to be unified, both for X and for Unit.

Не совсем понял…
Юнит - это и так набор для распечатки и сборки. Либо на клиппер, либо на стенделон версию (без клиппера). В стенделон пока маленький экранчик с энкодером. В версии клиппера - что хотите, то и прикручивайте, правильно заметили. Я с телеги управлял в основном. А маленький экранчик в кронштейн от стенделон версии встраивал спереди.
Плата iDryer сейчас будет унифицирована, что для X, что для Unit.
