Hey everyone. Not sure if it’s a bug with the scales. I got a 2-spool kit here. I calibrated the scales, but it only shows correctly when it’s sitting idle; during printing it can show -100 grams.
Всем привет. Хз баг ли с весами. Получил тут кит на 2 катушки. Весы откалибровал, но нормально показывает только когда постоит, во время печати может -100 грамм показывать
The scales are mainly needed to estimate how much filament is left at the start of a print. During printing, when the filament is being pulled off the spool, the force acting on the spool is no longer directed straight downward, so naturally the scale readings can change, although I haven’t seen 100 g myself, and I wasn’t really watching the remaining filament during printing either)
And it probably makes sense to check how freely the spools spin on the rollers.
But this is definitely not a bug with the scales, this is where you need to hack physics)
Весы в первую очередь нужны для оценки остатка филаменты на момент начала печати. В процессе печати, когда филамент стягивается с катушки сила действующая на катушку уже не направлена вертикально вниз таким образом показания весов естественно могут меняться, правда 100 г я не фиксировал, ну и в процессе печати на остаток филамента особо не смотрел)
Ну и наверно логично проверить насколько легко крутятся катушки на роликах.
Но это точно не баг с весами, тут нужно физику хачить)

Катушки крутятся хорошо, с алюминием намучился, в итоге напечатал из композита втулки
You can run a bold real-world experiment. Put the spool on, estimate its weight, and start pulling filament through the tube, and you’ll see changes on the scales caused by the extra force, or conversely a reduced reading if the filament exits upward.
Можешь провести смелый натурный эксперимент. Поставь катушку, оцени её вес и начни сматывать через трубку филаменты и ты увидишь изменения вызванные дополнительным давлением или наоборот снижением веса если выход филамента вверх, на весах

I’m not sure about a hundred grams though, that’s still quite a lot.
Ну про сто грамм я не уверен, всё-таки это довольно много
the main thing is that it reads нормально when idle. Sometimes, when there’s a print with a spool change, you want to roughly know what’s left instead of opening the door and checking.
главное в простое нормально. Иногда, когда печать со сменой катушки хочется примерно знать остаток, а не открывать дверь и смотреть
That’s exactly why I’m saying 100 g is a lot. The thing is, in my firmware the sound alert for filament remaining is always enabled, and I haven’t noticed discrepancies as big as yours near the end of a print. But I can’t check it right now, so I’m relying only on your experiments.
Именно поэтому я и пишу что 100 г это много. Дело в том что у меня в прошивке всегда включён звук на остаток филаменты и я не фиксировал таких больших расхождений как у тебя в конце печати. Но сейчас я проверить это не смогу и полагаюсь только на твои эксперименты
