Oh, I didn’t even know about that fork. But I still couldn’t find any description on the site of how exactly it differs from Klipper (it barely even mentions Klipper in the features, like “we’re just that awesome all by ourselves”).

It’s the former danger klipper, yeah, and the differences are minor, just little things. The changes are listed here so you don’t have to dig through the docs for them

Yeah, I’m using it myself, and I’ve installed/recommended it to some friends too. Seems pretty decent, really. Haven’t noticed any major crashes so far either. At the moment it even feels more stable than mainline Klipper.
да, я сам на нем, ну и товарищам ставил\советовал. Вроде прям неплохо. И сбоев не обнаружено пока особо. Пока кажется даже стабильнее основного клиппера.
Have you checked how far behind mainline it is? Has the new IS calibration algorithm been merged already? (In mainline it was around early December 2024.)

Nah, I didn’t really check that. There were some new motion-related calibrations. Then I installed the shake&tune+ branch of Kalico (because of the smooth shapers), and it seems the head jerking during measurements disappeared. But overall, not a single one of my measurements changed 
Не, это особо не смотрел. Новые калибровки с движением были. Потом я поставил шейк тюн+ branch ветку калико (изза smooth шейперов) и вроде дергание головой при замерах исчезло. Но в целом, у меня не один замер не изменился😁
And it isn’t supposed to change on printers that don’t have the issue the new algorithm is meant to solve.

Not exactly. It actually just measures what the regular one doesn’t measure because of the high breakaway force.
