Is it actually really glitchy? How does that show up? I’m slowly talking with the Chinese guys about screens like these, still not giving up hope of ordering a bunch of them), though maybe it’s not really that necessary?

It responds really badly to presses, and the viewing angles suck too, it’s not convenient to use.

By badly, I mean you have to hit, say, the exact center of a button, or even when you do hit it, it still doesn’t trigger.

You have to both hit it precisely and press hard, and even then it only works every other time.
I expected a lot more from Creality, but here it feels like they just slapped on the cheapest thing they could find.

From the feel of it, the Creality dryer has a resistive screen.

There are 4 “touch” buttons at the bottom. And sometimes you press the far-left one, but the one to the right triggers instead (off by 1-2 cm).
Also, mine froze up at the base at 5 degrees, to the point where it really didn’t want to display properly at all (and the dryer itself wasn’t working either, by the way).
Там 4 «сенсорных» клавиши снизу. И, бывает, нажимаешь левую самую, а срабатывает правее (промах на 1-2см).
А ещё он замерзал у меня на базе при 5 градусах, что вообще не хотел нормально показывать (ну и сама сушилка не работала к слову).
Even the K1 already has a proper screen with decent response.

Man, I’m kinda stuck on this… weird… looks like the Chinese are putting outright trash in there, but there are touch buttons on washing machines and ovens, and those work… but you never really know until you get burned by it.
я чет прям завис… странно… видимо китайцы откровенную шляпу лепят туда, ну есть же сенсорные кнопки на стиралках, духовках, работают жи…но и не угадаешь пока не вляпаешься

then toss it into the AMS.

What does the operator have to do with it. Dude. I come to the base, I want to start the dryer in the mode that’s already set (for example PETG 57).
After turning the dryer on from the screen, I only need to press the gear once and the down arrow once (it goes straight to 48 hours).
But sometimes instead of the gear, the up arrow gets pressed. One time it even hit the down arrow.
And that’s what pisses me off. Then I have to set everything up again (and often I still won’t be able to because of that touchscreen).
Да при чем тут оператор. Дружище. Я вот прихожу на базу, хочу запустить сушилку в режиме, что уже выставлен (к примеру петг 57).
Мне нужно, после включения сушилки с экрана, лишь нажать шестеренку один раз и стрелку вниз один раз (48часов сразу).
А нажимается вместо шестеренки стрелка вверх иногда. Один раз даже стрелка вниз.
И вот это бесит. Приходится заново все выставлять (а часто ещё и не удастся из-за сенсора этого).
