I tried to fit it into the stock location, even routed the wires straight up from the bottom. But I still ended up sticking the chamber thermistor on with tape in a pretty janky way).
Are you planning to reach high temperatures, or is it just for saving money? That cardboard will probably take a long time to pay off)

Well, I deliberately kept the stock blower fan. It circulates the air inside for me. I just took off the top part that used to direct the airflow at the model. Now it just blows upward.
As for the economics of this solution… if you were approaching it from a money-saving angle, you should’ve just bought a Bambu P2S or one of its bigger brothers. Creality is all about tinkering and suffering, not economics.

Ну, я дуйку стоковую специально оставил. Она у меня гоняет воздух внутри. Просто снял с нее верхнюю часть, уоторая поток на модель направляла. Сейчас просто вверх дует.
Вообще, на счет экономики такого решения… вот при подходе экономическом - надо было брать п2с бамбук или же что то из старших братьев оного. Креалити это ж про рукоблудство и пердолинг. А не про экономику.
Everything’s relative) I think Creality is still more cost-effective than Bambu.
And yeah, I agree about the suffering. What I spent converting the K1 SE into a K1C definitely wasn’t worth it, and it ended up getting close to the price of a Q1 Pro. And I bought mine for 27.5K, not 18K

А про пердолинг согласен. То, что я потратил по переделке К1 SE в K1C, точно не стоило того и уж приблизилось к цене Q1 pro. Да ещё и брал я за 27,5К, а не 18К😅
Well, I bought the K1C right away. Considering everything I’ve already spent and what I still want to do, it’ll end up costing more than a P2S… And I got mine for 30…

Let’s start with the fact that yeah, nothing major. But this is one of those cases where it just works the way it’s supposed to. No need to screw around, no endless tinkering, no other nonsense. No rooting, no helper script, no rewriting parameters, no reflashing, no swapping nozzles from Unicorn to Volcano and CHC Pro just to make it heat and push filament properly… want multicolor? Buy an AMS 2 Pro. Then you’ve got multicolor and a dryer. And what about us? First buy the upgrade kit, tear everything apart, install it, reflash it… and then half the Telegram thread is full of “questions about how to make this damn thing work,” and the answers are either “it worked for me right away” or “no idea, I rolled back and gave up.”
Its main perk is that the damn thing works right away, the way it was meant to.

Начнем с того, что да, значимых никаких. Но, это тот случай, когда оно просто работает так как должно. Не надо мудохаться, пердолингом заниматься и прочей всякой лабудой. Никакого тебе рута, хэлпер скрипта, перепрописывания параметров, перепрошивки, замены сопел с юникорна на вулкан и цхц про, чтоб оно нормально грело и давило… захотел многоцвет - купил амс 2 про. И у тебя и многоцвет и сушилка. А у нас? Сперва купи апгрейд кит, разбери все, установи, перепрошей… а потом пол ветки в телеге с « вопросами как эту тварь заставить работать» и ответы или уменя сразу все работало и фиг знает- я откатился и забил»
Главная его плюшка - он, блин, работает сразу как и задумано.
