Looks like the auto-PID is broken in the firmware. After pressing start, it just sat there like that for almost two hours, blasting the fan, until I turned it off. It wasn’t responding to any button presses. In normal mode it dries and heats fine

From that doc, I understood that you need to flash the required number of scales so that the values get written to the correct EEPROM addresses afterward.

You can flash the scales at any time, but the auto-PID results will need to be written into the config in the menu.h file (the easiest way, so you don’t have to enter them by hand every time after updating the EEPROM).
Весы можно прошить в любой момент, но результаты автопида нужно будет записать в конфиг в файле menu.h (наиболее простой способ, чтобы каждый раз не вводить руками после обновления eeprom).
