Yeah, direct drives have been around forever, it was just that back then people thought you needed a light toolhead to print fast. That’s how Bowdens took off. And with the arrival of LA and IS, the weight of the toolhead stopped being such a big problem.

Да давн были директы, просто тогда считалось что чтобы быстро печатать нужна легкая голова. Вот и боудены пошли. А с появлением LA и ИШ вес головы стал не такой уж большой проблемой
