Print timelapse: DSLR, webcam, or smartphone

Using a DSLR for timelapse just seems way too complicated. I’d honestly feel really bad about putting that much wear on the shutter. I’d probably just rig up some smartphone — sounds basic, but I’m pretty sure the video quality wouldn’t suffer at all, if not actually be better.

вот как-то сложно очень с зеркалкой и таймлапсом. Мне прямо было бы очень жалко ресурса затвора. Я бы наверное тупо бы какой смартфон приладил – банально, но уверен что качество съемки не пострадает от слова совсем, если еще не лучше будет

I just think a smartphone would record the video right away, and it’s flat, so you just stick it to the glass and that’s it.

да просто кмк смартфон сразу видос запишет, и он плоский, к стеклу приклеил и все

But the glass heats up, and the phone heats up while recording too, and you need a lot of storage.

так стекло греется и телефон во время съемки тоже греется и памяти нужно много
