I got assembled boards: I expected bare PCBs, but they arrived already soldered

I asked about the boards, and they told me they had some, so I figured they were from the first batch that was still soldered by hand, and he just had some unsoldered ones left, so that’s what he’s selling off.

The red ones are v2, as I understand it.

Я спросил про платы, мне сказали есть, я так и подумал из первой партии которые руками еще паялись, у него просто остались не собранные, вот он и распадает.

Красные это v2 я так понял.

There doesn’t seem to be a choice when buying, and v2 sounds more powerful.

I didn’t buy them from a store, I just posted in the chat. It’s up above, from 3 days ago. The second version has neopixel lighting, mine doesn’t. But I don’t need it anyway :grinning_face:

Yeah, and by the way, they fit perfectly with the mounting points on the new electronics cover in the documentation.

Я не в магазине брал, а в чатик просто писал. Выше есть это, 3 дня назад. Во второй версии есть neopixel подсветка, в моей нет. Ну она мне и не нужна😀

Да, и к стати они идеально подходят по крепежу к крышки электроники которая новая в документации.

In the very first (basically pre-release) version, only the terminal blocks and connectors were soldered on there, everything else was already populated.
And the “unsoldered ones left” are exactly the ones without neopixel that can be bought not as a kit.

В совсем первой (предрелизной фактически) версии там только клеммы и разъемы паялись, все остальное было уже распаяно.
А “остались несобранные” это как раз которые без неопикселя и которые можно купить не-китом.

Well, that’s why I somehow thought I was buying just the boards and would still have to solder them. But here everything is already ready to go, which is even better for me :smiley:
