I may be a real asshole, but the dryer author’s attitude toward his customers really pisses me off.
Yeah, sure, if you bought a kit, you have to assemble it — fine. But where are the print files? Why the hell should I have to spend a ton of time digging through sites/forums/discussions, trying to piece together bits of information?
What, was it impossible to put a link on the documentation site and call it “print files”? And put the files there with normal names.
If the author is so worried about people downloading the source files from the site, then put a flash drive with the files into the kit you sell.
The only thing I found was Корпус RIP2.stl, which absolutely hammers my PC when I open it. And it has a whole bunch of parts inside that are a total mess — no clue how you’re even supposed to extract them.
Why do it like this?
Oh, and in the assembly video they mention some spatulas, marking tools, … which are clearly nowhere to be seen in “Корпус RIP2.stl”.

Да, понятно, если купил кит для сборки, то его нужно собирать, но где файлы для печати? Какого черта я должен кучу времени провести на сайтах/форумах/ обсуждениях, чтобы по крохам выуживать информацию?
Что, нельзя на сайте с документацией сделать ссылку и назвать ее “файлы для печати”? И в раздел положить файлы с адекватными названиями.
Если автор так беспокоится о том, чтобы исходники не скачали с сайта, пусть кладет флешку с файлами в продаваемый комплект.
Найден только Корпус RIP2.stl, который жестко “грузит” мой комп при открытии. Да он содержит в себе “кучу” деталек, которые хрен пойми как не понятно как вытащить.
Вот зачем так делать?
Ах да, в видео, по сборке, есть упоминания о каких-то шпателях, разметочниках, … которых явно в “Корпус RIP2.stl” не видать.

I understand that maybe it’s hard for you to read through all the documentation. And the direct link from the site didn’t give you the information you needed. But an open project implies studying the documentation in full. And everything necessary is there, in detail.

Have you actually seen this “documentation”? Or is it your “creation”?
For me, documentation means one single, step-by-step guide that lets you calmly assemble the device you need.
Not jumping between files, sections, projects, forums, and so on.
