Bought 800 g carbon PETG instead of regular PETG: what is it and is it worth keeping

I bought some PETG today. Only noticed it once I got home. Is this carbon-filled? 800 grams, priced like regular 1 kg. Either the seller messed up or this is a scam?

carbon might just be the color name. usually they write the fill percentage

That’s what I’m thinking too, that it’s supposed to look like carbon. It’s just the weight that bothers me. 800 grams instead of 1000

  1. Carbon is less abrasive than glass. It won’t eat it in one spool
  2. Carbon-filled PETG has a really nice matte surface.
  3. It doesn’t string behind the nozzle as much as pure PETG. You can print faster.
    Those are the pros.
    Now the cons
  4. It fuses worse than pure PETG
  5. More brittle.
