Are you sure it’s -ethane? It’s more toxic than -methane. But you definitely need to ventilate well, with a good draft
I had a one-liter jug of d-limonene sitting in a cabinet here. So over 5 years it completely evaporated right through the plastic, the jug even shriveled up and got squeezed in, and at the bottom there was some kind of thick yellow goo left 
А точно -этана? Он ядовитее -метана. Но проветрить нужно хорошо, сквознячком
У меня тут в шкафу стояла канистрочка литровая д-лимонена. Так вот он за 5 лет через пластик весь испарился, канистру аж скукожило-сжало, и на дне осталась какая-то тягучая желтая жижа

Yeah, it was in glass with a plastic stopper, but that was like Final Destination… first I cut the stopper, and then I didn’t tighten the cap properly
да он в стекле был и пробка капроновая, но то был пункт назначения… сначала я порезал пробку, а потом не плаотно закрутил крышку
