That’s the main fatal mistake, not soldering in a 700 the wrong way around or a cap :slight_smile:

Nah, that’s not how it works. The rest of it mostly goes into its specific spots on the board anyway (well, except maybe you could mix up the transistors). Even the caps are different sizes, and they have clearly readable polarity markings. But a lot of resistors look alike, so it’s easier when you can immediately see which one goes where, without having to pull out a multimeter or a reference chart (and sometimes strain your eyes too if your color perception isn’t great)

Не, это не так работает. Остальное там в целом прям по местам в плате размещается (ну разве что транзюки можно попутать). Даже кондеры разного размера, и легко-читаемую маркировку полюса имеют. А вот резисторы многие похожи - и проще когда сразу видно куда какой, без необходимости доставать мультик или справочник (а иной раз и глаза ломать если цветовосприятие хромает)

I didn’t really look at the board — is the polarity marked as + or -?

Both are marked. All that’s left is not to mix up the marking on the cap :slight_smile:

I already spotted it on a freeze-frame in the video :slight_smile:
The main thing is not to think that the white marking on the cap is +

I’ve sent a couple to the great beyond that way. Got used to the Soviet-era convention where + was marked.

Я плату не рассматривал, там какой полюс обозначен + или - ?

Обозначены оба. Осталось только не перепутать обозначение на кандере:)

Разглядел уже на стоп-кадре в видео:)
Главное не подумать что беленькое на кандере это +

Я так парочку отправил к праотцам. Привык с советских времен что + помечен.
