How to simplify reflashing a Klipper board via Katapult

Hi everyone. I need help from Klipper experts. After yesterday’s struggles, we figured out that even though Klipper itself is new (installed it in June, updated it last week), the printer’s MCU firmware is outdated. That’s exactly why when I connect the dryer (include iDryer.cfg), Klipper throws an error. If I disconnect it, the printer works perfectly — looks like a protocol conflict.
So here’s the question: how do I update the printer’s MCU without rebuilding everything from scratch? Considering I’m still not very confident with Klipper. Preferably over ssh; Klipper is on an orangepi zero 3, printer is a voxelab aqilla h32…

Things are kind of rough with the stock board… But looks like I’ll have to deal with it. Probably should finally buy a newer board than the stock one from the Aquila.

Всем привет. Нужна помощь спецов по klipper. В итоге вчерашних мучений выяснили, что несмотря на новый клиппер (ставил в июне, обновлял на прошлой неделе) - прошивка МЦУ принтера устарела, именно из-за этого при подключении сушилки (include iDryer.cfg) клиппер выпадает в ошибку. При отключении - принтер работает прекрасно, видимо конфликт протоколов.
Внимание вопрос - как обновить МЦУ принтера, не пересобирая все с нуля? С учетом, что я еще не силен слаб в клиппер. Желательно по ssh, клиппер на orangepi zero 3, принтер voxelab aqilla h32…

В киянке хреново… Но похоже придется. Надо наверное таки купить плату поновей родной с аквиллы.

Why not just install Katapult once and then flash it later without all the extra hassle?

You flash katapult onto the motherboard once, and after that you don’t have to go poking around in the basement to put it into DFU mode anymore — you just do everything over ssh: compile the firmware and upload it straight to the motherboard. The whole operation takes maybe 10 minutes at most.

Ты на материнскую плату единожды накатывает прошивку katapult, а уже в последующем тебе уже не нужно лазить в подвал переводить её в режим dfu, а просто все через ssh, компилируешь прошивку и сразу загоняешь на материнку, и вся операци занимает от силы 10минут

No, those are just recommendations for specific boards, but you can flash basically any of them.
