Well, Klipper itself is on older algorithms there — read the changelog history. When it’s 315 and 5xx versions, self-built machines start throwing complaints in the logs, and here it’s from 2022 — that’s ancient, basically. So to me, standalone or separate control from its own host makes more sense, though it’s not exactly the most practical.

Of course not. I’ve got a K1C with the script, and I never really thought about it or bothered my head with it.
Well, they lock down their stuff like crazy firmware-wise. It’s Klipper, but closed. Make a standalone firmware that controls itself inside the heater, independently of your hardware. You get heating, operation, great print quality.
Don’t manage the heater from outside — let it work on its own depending on what’s going on inside the printer. Seems like the simpler option to me.

Ну, они дико лочат свое творчество в плане прошивки, там клиппер, но закрытый. Сделай самостоятельную прошивку стэндэлон, которая внутри грелки сама себя контролит, независимо от твоего железа. Получаешь нагрев, работу, отличную печать
Не уплавляй грелкой, пусть она сама работает в зависимости от того, что творится внутри принтера, как по мне, вариант более простой

On the vzbot and the Voron, it works a bit differently for me, but Klipper is fully open there. Same with h2s/h2c/h2d — it’s there and works great, but the lack of some settings is annoying.
With closed firmware, it makes sense to do it standalone — it’ll work independently anyway.

На взботе, вороне, оно то у меня работает чуть иначе, но там клиппер полностью открытый, те же h2s/h2c/h2d там это есть и работает прекрасно, но напрягает отсутствие некоторых настроек
На закрытой прошивке есть смысл делать стэндэлон, оно ж независимо работать будет

The Voron had an expansion board — basically the same thing — and I flashed it, making an iHeater equivalent for the Ender 5 Max. It worked for me

У ворона была плата расширения, она считай тоже самое, и я её прошивал, делая аналог iheater для ендера 5 Макс. У меня сработало)
It even has an f042 in there, if I’m not mixing it up.
