Do you need to flash the MCU board, and how to connect it for Klipper

Good day, could you tell me, does the board need to be flashed, or do I just connect it to the printer and add it to the config?

Flashing it takes 40 seconds. Hold down the button, plug it in, open the Klipper config, set it up like in the screenshot, then run a couple of commands to mount it — and that’s it. Waiting for a reply takes longer.

Прошить её - дело 40 секунд. Кнопу зажали, подрубили, зашли в конфиг клиппера настроили как на скриншоте и пару команд для монтирования - и всё. Дольше ждать ответа

Most likely yes. Everyone has different Klipper versions. The MCU firmware has to be built specifically for your Klipper version. If it’s built for a different version, it won’t work.

Нада вероятно. У всех версии клиппера разные. Прошивка должна мцу быть сформированна именно под вашу версию клиппера. Если она будет под другую версию - не заработает.

You mean hold down the button and connect it to the printer’s USB?

I have a qidi q1

I’ve never done this before, the instructions aren’t very clear

I only use the web server terminal, I have a little experience with that

С терминалом только веб сервера использую, в этом опыт небольшой есть

Press and hold the button on the board, then connect it to a PC or the printer. If it’s to a PC, it’ll show up as an external drive. Put the firmware there.

Кнопку на плате нажимаете, держите и подключаете к ПК или принтеру. Если к ПК — будет внешний диск. в него класть прошивку

If you’re connecting it to the printer, you first need to mount the drive to a directory and put the firmware into that directory.

Если к Принтеру - диск нужно вначале смонтировать в каталог и положить прошивку в этот каталог
